How to say yes to harmony with others

Yoga practice is designed to help devoted seekers experience a marvelous state of harmony in body, mind, and spirit — including a unique relationship with God and other people. Postures, pranayamas, interiorization and meditation each contribute to one’s fulfillment.

Yoga in Daily Life, Harmony, Companionship

Live in Harmony

Discover and abide in harmony, in agreement, of body, mind and spirit, as well as harmony between you and the universe —  in your home, in your work, and in society. You’ll not only enjoy life a great deal, but you’ll be a true blessing to others. You will have found the secret of life.

  • Companionship is a form of agreement. Companions are powerful influences in our lives
  • Sri Ramakrishna, on the companionship of devotees:  They are in agreement for they know that God alone has become all living beings. And, knowing this, they devote their lives to the service of others.
  • The purpose of life is to come into agreement with Spirit
  • Yoga is harmony, agreement, between body, mind and spirit and that of you as an individual with the Infinite Consciousness
  • Through postures, pranayamas, interiorization, meditation and centering in the soul, we enter into and enjoy harmony with Spirit

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
