What Drives You?

We humans have five powerful drives which motivate our behavior. We need to fulfill each of these drives in order to experience lasting fulfillment. As we become more aware of them in ourself and others, we enjoy healthier, happier relationships.

Clues for Finding Your Nature

Becoming aware of your true nature is one of the joys of life. Yoga helps you discover your nature and accelerate your growth through specific techniques.

What is Your State of Mind?

The mind can be your greatest friend or your worst enemy. Yogis say there are five states of mind which we all experience — ranging from distraught to one-pointed and clear. There are yoga practices which can help you progress through the states of mind until the clear mind, the place of love, light, joy and wisdom, is reached

The Six Chains Which Bind Us

Yogis have identified six fetters (binding chains) which block us from the harmony of body, mind, and spirit. These momentums keep us from feeling fulfilled and also from success in yoga. There are many practices to help free us from these chains. As you work with them, you can create new momentums of peace, joy and happiness. Learn yoga techniques which can free you from these chains and allow you to thrive.

Patanjali’s Eightfold Path

Patanjali teaches seekers how to start where they are and, through practice, be able to live in higher states of consciousness. The Eightfold Path is one of the greatest step-by-step guides to fulfillment and realization.

How to Sit for Meditation — Asana

The third step of Patanjali’s Eightfold path is called asana, meaning how to sit with stillness. It also refers to yoga postures (asanas). The postures of hatha yoga help develop the strength and flexibility needed for meditation. Sitting for meditation in a still and comfortable manner promotes the easy movement of energy up and down the spine.

Do You Know Your Nature?

Yogis want to know their true nature and express it in daily life. Explore practices which help you discover and manifest your essence.  Life becomes richer when you live from your true self instead of who you imagine yourself to be. Discover the joy of finding and living from your true nature.
