Two Episodes

Developing the Eyes of a Yogi

Is it possible to stop being miserable?

The Bhagavad Gita tells us we have come into this life for enlightenment — living life centered in Spirit, always aware of your inner self. Yoga practices for “seeing like a yogi” can help you to stop ignoring Spirit and become more attuned to your soul. Then your miseries can become fewer and fewer.

  • Developing the Eyes of a Yogi #1
  • Developing the Eyes of a Yogi #2

In this series you’ll learn how to develop a calm awareness that can help you distinguish the eternal (Spirit) from that which changes and fades way (the world). As you develop this way of seeing life and center in your spiritual core, you can become a person of steady wisdom.

Why Do Yogis Pronam?

When you pronam, you are affirming, My soul bows to your soul. I acknowledge, respect, honor and appreciate the Spirit within you.

This helps you recognize the everlasting self, the Spirit of God, within everyone.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
