RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Humanity is Trying Yoga

Are you aware that more people are doing yoga?

We’re all involved in character development. Some of us just don’t know it. For most people, it’s a very slow process. Discover how you can accelerate this growth and have a more fulfilling life — using yoga practices which help you unite with your true self.

First Steps, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Self-Study

The Divine Play

Yoga aspirants go beyond ego and ignorance to unity with Spirit and soul. We also find unity with the souls of others. We can see how Spirit is moving and expressing in the world through them. We call this vision Lila — the divine play.

  • While yoga ideas are common today, a direct study and practice of yoga conveys more benefits
  • Patanjali (Yoga Sutras) wrote that character development is essential to yoga
  • Practice of the yamas and the niyamas of Patanjali improves character and brings many benefits
  • We unite and become absorbed with what we focus on
  • Character development and absorption in Spirit are the transforming experiences that open the doors to a new life
  • Through yoga we become united in body, mind and Spirit

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
