Developing Equilibrium

As you develop equilibrium, yoga opens its doors to you. Once you have equilibrium, everything in life becomes easier. You begin to find body, mind and spirit work together wonderfully. In this awareness, you sense your oneness with all people. The harmony developed through yoga establishes a marvelous sense of unity. As you sense this connection with the universe, you become a conscious player, an active participant in creation.

  • Emotional stability establishes a momentum which leads to enlightenment and well being
  • Strive to release negative, self-destructive emotions and nurture positive feelings such as love, kindness, enthusiasm and happiness
  • Sri Yukteswar taught that yoga practice helps to reveal the heart’s already present true feeling — natural, unconditional love
  • Equilibrium is a state of harmony in which body, mind and spirit interplay effortlessly
  • This leads to a sense of unity within one’s being and also with others
  • Equilibrium fosters freedom from the pairs of opposites — from having your life thrown off course by pain/pleasure, gain/loss, victory or defeat

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
