Spirit is working dynamically to move and express within us as we practice yoga. When Spirit is blocked, energy builds up and pushes our bodies into movements called kriyas. Kriyas occur in order to open our bodies to the free flow of Spirit. Ramakrishna Ananda shares how one can become more aware of the divine energy trying to move within us and what this divine force feels like.
Yogi’s find the divine force is what is keeping us alive — empowering our breathing and our heartbeat. But this force wants to express more fully in all of us. I hope you enjoy the unfoldment that occurs as your kriyas develop into serenity, stillness and spiritual awakening. Some seekers have no blockages so they experience no kriyas.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
