Sri Sarada Devi (1853 to 1920) was the consort and spiritual successor to Sri Ramakrishna. Also known as Holy Mother/Sri Ma, she embodied the unconditional love of the Divine Mother, accepting and welcoming all people. She emphasized the absolute supremacy of devotion. May you be inspired as you absorb the words of the great Sri Sarada Devi.
Holy Mother emphasized the path of devotion: Look upon God as your own. Surrender yourself unconditionally to Him. Your spiritual illumination ultimately depends on God’s grace alone. Everything no doubt happens only by the will of God.
You must make an effort and do spiritual practices. They are useful in bestowing the purity of mind necessary for the dawn of devotion. God cannot be purchased by the power of your practices like chanting and meditation. Realization is the result of Divine grace alone. Pure loving devotion alone can win everything.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
