Through yoga practice we seek to turn within to contact the atman, the true self. Meditation and other yogic practices allow us to better understand life’s events and choose a course which leads to fulfillment. Through yoga study, meditation and insight, we begin to understand and accept responsibility for the internal and external chaos in our life. We seek to change our direction. Having often been focused on matter, confusion and delusion, we now wish to return to Spirit.
We aim to turn our consciousness away from identification with the body/mind and move toward attunement with the inner self, the perfect atman.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
