Natural, Continuous Attunement

How can we live our daily lives while remaining connected with the true self? This is a basic problem in the early stages of yoga practice. Sahaj is one of the solutions. Sahaj means maintaining a natural, continuous attunement with Spirit.

  • Sahaj is a way to stay connected with soul and Spirit throughout the day
  • Sri Ramakrishna taught that one can center in God and soul even with eyes open
  • Hatha yoga sahaj:  Focusing on the ongoing harmony in the body after practicing postures
  • Bhakti yoga sahaj:  Keeping your awareness on the flow of love until it becomes constant
  • Chakra sahaj:  Centering and living from one of the chakras (energy centers)
  • Stay in the momentum or mood of a meditation experience such as peace or joy
  • One can start by practicing sahaj for fifteen minutes at a time and then extending it

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
