You Can Have a Happy Life

The words in Love Poems from God can open us to sweetness and rapture on the spiritual path. There is a happy essence running through this book which comes from being in love and relating to God. It is a joyful quality which occurs when you know God.

You can have a happier life when you relate to Spirit. Give yourself a chance to be filled with joy.

  • Love Poems from God expresses the joy of being in love with God and relating to Spirit
  • Sufi poet Rabia of Basra (717-801):  One day, He did not leave after kissing me. He stayed. God is here in this house.
  • Catholic Friar St. Francis of Assisi (1181-1226):  God came to my house and asked for charity. I fell on my knees and cried, “Beloved, what may I give?” “Just love,” He said, “just love.”
  • Sufi poet Rumi (1207-1273):  It’s rigged — everything, in your favor. So there is nothing to worry about.
  • German mystic Meister Eckhart (1220-1327):  It is a lie — any talk of God that does not comfort you.
