Each worry, craving or fear which disturbs us can become a doorway through which we find peace. These concerns can become pathways to freedom, happiness and peace. Explore the way of the peacemaker as presented by Pema Chödrön (Practicing Peace). Instead of agitation or worry, you can live in peace. Becoming established in peace, you are a true benefit to humanity.

A yogi is one who continually lives in the harmony of body, mind and spirit. He/she has transcended the false sense of self (the ego) and is centered in the true self, the soul.

The yogic view is that the soul is your true personality. What we normally call personality is not our true self, not our essence. Explore suggestions from yoga and metaphysics about finding and living in your true personality.

Dedicated yoga practice leads to an awareness of the inner self. Learn the Hong Sau/So Hum method which helps still the breath and can bring kumbhaka (breath poise). As breath poise goes on and on, you become absorbed, experiencing the light of the true self.

We search for the Divine through our yoga practice. As we grow, we find that It wants to express through us in daily life. Lahiri Mahasaya was a great yogi who lived in a high state of realization while being busy in the world. His words serve as an uplifting guide on the spiritual path.

Through dedicated yoga practice, we seek attunement with the true self, the Spirit within. As we allow these realizations to abide in us, nurture us and express through us, we become yogis. Learn practices which lead to contacting and living from the atman, the inner guru.

Your soul wants to reveal itself to you. Often, however, we block or deny soul experiences by habitually centering in the false sense of self. Sincere yoga practice opens one to awareness which is beyond the ego. Explore exercises which can facilitate the process of finding the core self. Your soul eagerly awaits your recognition.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
