Sunday Morning Talks

Happiness Goes On and On

In terms of realization, when you love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul, a profound attunement occurs. Through an adoring union with the Lord, one lives a fulfilling, happy, joyful life. As a result of this upliftment, you can truly love yourself and your neighbor in a richer way. A joy and confidence about life develops.

If you want to be happy in an ongoing way, it is essential to include Spirit. Events, people and situations bring us periods of happiness but often may fall away. God is constant, bestowing happiness which grows and goes on and on.

  • Religion comes from the Latin religio, to relink. Optimally, through religion the individual returns to union and harmony with the Divine
  • As you focus on God through meditation and prayer, you can begin to truly love
  • Yoga practices help to release physical tension and mental/emotional turbulence in order to experience higher levels of awareness
  • A growing relationship with the Divine brings happiness and transformation
  • Bliss and ecstasy come naturally to those who does the basic work of harmonizing body, mind and spirit
