Enjoy an easy way to be spiritually inspired and renewed

The Fourth Commandment reminds us to remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. Discover how understanding the sabbath from a yogic point of view leads to rest and renewal in Spirit.

A Blessed Sabbath

What are you going to do with Sunday? You could focus on, “I am receiving. I am open to the awareness that God loves me.” Then, as that develops, you realize that God loves others through you. My friend, I wish you a blessed sabbath.

  • It is vital to our happiness to have a day of rest and spiritual contact
  • The metaphysical dictionary defines sabbath: a state of mind in which we rest from outer activities and give ourselves up to spiritual matters
  • In the sabbath, we become aware of God’s presence in our home, in our heart and in our life
  • The sabbath was made for you — receive it
  • Mystics say that the sabbath develops until we live in a perpetual sabbath, aware of God, and Spirit moving through us and expressing

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
