RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

The Bay of Your Mind

Discover how powerful inner momentums impact your thoughts, feelings and actions

Yogis use the analogy of the bay and the ocean as a way of experiencing and interplaying with Spirit. We are like bays, always connected to the vast ocean of Spirit. If our minds are at peace, we can become conscious of the bay, the ocean, and the interplay between the two. Learn techniques that help to calm the mind and allow us to know and enjoy the soul and Spirit.

Go Farther with Meditation, Self-Study, Higher Consciousness

The Ocean and The Bay

You and I are like bays in the ocean of Spirit. We are always connected to the ocean and it is always flowing into us. Discover that you’re an individual expression of Spirit — a unique expression — and your life, your existence, is an interplay between Spirit within you and the Infinite Spirit.

  • The ocean and bay analogy help us understand the union of the individual with the Infinite Spirit. Infinite Spirit is the ocean and the individual is a bay in that ocean
  • Spirit is our substance. We are  always connected to Spirit
  • When the mental/emotional content of our bay, called the collection, is free of turbulence, we are able to consciously interplay with Spirit
  • Use witness consciousness to discover the content of the collection. The issues that keep coming up need to be resolved. What is the lesson? What is the blessing in this?
  • Participate in a series of meditations witnessing the collection
  • There is a growing sense of lightness and joy in life that comes as we work with the collection

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.

Why the Commitment?
