RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

You Can Choose Your State of Mind

Would you like to have a clear, calm mind 24/7?

Yogis say there are five states of mind we all experience in varying degrees. When you are in one of the first three states of mind, it’s hard to communicate with people generally. Find out how you can identify which state of mind you are in as well as choose a more beneficial, productive, and rewarding mental state.

Yoga Basics, Mind, Habits, Helpful Qualities

Your Habitual Thought

It’s the habitual state of mind that most directly, more than anything else, affects our life experience. If you take up a new, wonderful thought, that thought, however positive, will not work very well for you unless it becomes habitual. The mind also needs to be in harmony with the new idea. Many people wonder why positive thinking doesn’t work for them. It’s because they’re doing negative thinking the rest of the time.

  • Explore how an unclear mind distorts your view of the outer world and hinders your ability to cope
  • Hear how the ideal mind is worry-free, not regularly misinterpreting what the senses report
  • Ponder some findings that the average mind cannot concentrate on even the most pleasant thought for more than 11 seconds
  • Discover that the atman, the soul, joyfully experiences life when the mind is free of worry and turbulence
  • Allow Ramakrishna Ananda to guide you in a profound exercise which can reveal clues to your habitual state of mind
