RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Essential Yoga — Your Habits — Part 3

Find out how you can reflect more love and compassion every day

Yoga changes our samskars (habits). Learn which yoga is best at upgrading your samskars. One true indicator of progress in yoga is the development of new habits which lead toward soul and Spirit.

Essential Life Skills, Habits, Bhakti Yoga

A Mood of Divine Love

One day you feel so much love that you forget your body. You become absorbed in the awareness of God, Spirit, the Infinite Spirit. You’re aware of only two things:  God and you in a wondrous connection, a wondrous union. It’s marvelous. This immersion is called a bhava. Your bhakti grows into this beautiful mood of divine love.

We are spiritual beings
“Higher consciousness (also called spiritual awareness) is the main component missing in the lives of people. We humans are spiritual beings, enlivened by Spirit. We’d have a much better world if more people discovered the already present Spirit within them.”

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
