RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Superconscious Techniques — Part 1

How can one connect with the soul?

Your soul has the power to reveal spiritual wisdom and profound truths to your mind. As you abide in the soul, you begin to receive inspired guidance and intuitive insights. Various yogic practices can help you connect with the soul and allow its presence to flow through your thoughts, emotions, body and identity. Participate in guided practices which nurture soul awareness. Allow the profound truth of the soul to answer life’s essential questions:  Who am I? Where can I find lasting joy? What is life for?

An Experience Beyond Words

Your soul is capable of filling your mind with wisdom. It is an experience beyond words. Soul contact brings deep insights and enables wise decisions.

As the spirit of the Divine fills your being, you gain astute discrimination. You develop a growing capacity for not only love but also for wisdom. Toward that end, I would like to share various ways to become aware of the soul. Try them and see which work best for you.

  • A superconscious person has the ability to still the mind and make instant contact with the soul
  • The soul can express through the mind, creating thoughts and revealing profound insights
  • Dwelling in awareness of the soul brings improvement on all levels — physical, mental and spiritual
  • Shambhavi mudra, gazing at the horizon, stimulates the superconscious mind and leads to awareness of the soul
  • The practice of seeing your life and the world as a movie helps you gain insight into how your soul is expressing
  • In the Patanjali practice of Friendliness to the Object, one regards objects from a soul viewpoint, approaching them with an attitude of appreciation and friendliness

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
