Advanced Praying — Part 3

Ramakrishna Ananda describes three places/stages of prayer, each taking us deeper into an awareness of the Divine. Discover how advanced prayer can improve your life and the lives of others.

Work for God

Karma yogis work with the consciousness of being free. They realize that Spirit is the true doer and they are but an instrument through whom the Divine expresses. Discover how karma yoga can transform every aspect of your life and allow you to live in the loving, comforting, joyous ocean of conscious energy.

Skill in Action through Karma Yoga

Most of our problems come from thinking we, the ego, are performing the action. As we engage in selfless service, the Divine can more easily express through us. Enjoy karma yoga practices which transform your sense of who is performing the action.

Yoga Brings Ecstasy

Ecstasy is part of getting to know Spirit. We already have ecstasy inside us. Our part is to find and dwell in it. Discover how to make contact with Spirit and live in ecstasy.

Advanced Praying — Part 2

Advanced prayer becomes a connection with higher awareness and the Divine. Explore ways to encourage the Spirit of God to enter more powerfully into your prayer life. Find how chanting a mantra can lead to advanced levels of prayer and moods of spiritual absorption.

The Message of Karma Yoga

As you practice karma yoga, it will transform the ego and allow your true self to express. Karma yogis have many awakenings as they progress on the path. Discover exercises and attitudes which aid your growth and enable you to become an instrument of the Divine.

Penetrate Beyond the Words

To truly understand yoga, you need to experience it. Discover the essence of life and explore a new dimension of your own consciousness through yoga practice. Find how to live in love and ever-new joy.

Advanced Praying — Part 1

Prayer is sincerely expressing yourself to God — even at a basic emotional level. Discover how you can help the world by being a knower of Spirit and relating to Spirit through prayer.

The False Sense of Self

Our karmas are designed to teach and help us move inward toward the true self. The sense of I and mine, one of the major causes of suffering, is changed through the practice of karma yoga. Discover how absorption in Spirit can bring transformations which allow the wisdom, love and joy of the true self to express.

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
