All Is Joy

What happens after asamprajnata samadhi where suddenly there is no mental content? The next stage is ananda (pure joy). You now realize that everything is joy — not only within you but also filling the universe. While perceiving the world of appearances, you actually realize the secret: all is joy. God’s expression of Himself through all forms is joy.

Savitarka (samadhi with words or effort) leads to nirvitarka samadhi (effortless)
Next is asamprajnata samadhi where the object disappears and you are conscious with no mental content. Wonderful mental clarity occurs here
Nirvichara samadhi follows in which the universal quality of a chosen meditation object is revealed

In nirvichara samadhi the buddhi (the spiritual realm between the mind and soul) begins to reveal the true self
The next stage is ananda (pure joy) — you see God’s expression of the universe as pure joy. Divine joy fills you from head to toe
Through ananda, you become aware of pure consciousness, the source of your joy. You discover that everything is a manifestation of consciousness
