When we experience samadhi, we begin to see each person is a manifestation of the Divine. Our true self, the atman, is eternal. As a result of abiding in the soul and watching the mind and feelings from an eternal point of view, we can joyfully and fully participate in life.
Who is it that comes back from dharmamega samadhi? Our habitual sense of ‘I’ dies. Our ego comes back but is not the same. It has been divinized. In other words, a consciously divine self comes back. A mortal ego goes into high samadhi, but an immortal, enlightened ego comes back.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
