Emotions which can shorten our life are anxiety, sorrow, fear, anger, excitability, rumination and over-empathy. These negative emotions, when excessive, preoccupy our mind, harm our internal organs and disturb the flow of the life force. Chinese yoga counteracts these negative flows by teaching practices to promote healing.
