Self-Mastery

How to be the boss of your life

Self-mastery gives us the keys to fulfillment and happiness. Yogis and Sufis teach the importance of dharma, finding the purpose of our life and living from our true self, the soul. You can realize there is nothing on earth more precious than living with the knowledge of soul and Spirit.

Essential Life Skills

Live in Spiritual Awareness

In yoga,  self-mastery has several characteristics. Self-mastery is living and abiding in spiritual realization. You not only visit Spirit, you live in it. You live in spiritual awareness and Spirit expresses through you. A master stays centered in the true self.

  • Sri Ramakrishna:  A master is God’s partner expressing and manifesting in the divine play.
  • Mystic:  A master is one who has been mastered by Spirit or God
  • Hazrat Khan (The Heart of Sufism):  Self-mastery comes when the soul is in charge in all areas of life.
  • Sufis and yogis teach that the purpose of life is  to find one’s dharma, the way the soul wants to express
  • Khan:  If we do not realize the kingdom of God within, we do not accomplish the purpose of life.
  • Enlightened yogis, Sufis and mystics live with the awareness of Spirit everywhere
