How to let go of inner tensions, pressures and self-destructive behavior

Yoga can help with mental, emotional and physical problems. It can aid in the release of tensions stemming from the five kleshas (afflictions) which are the root of most human problems. Discover the ways yoga brings relief into problem areas, freeing one to live in happiness and fulfillment.

Note: If your thoughts and feelings are always gloomy and troubling, it’s best to seek professional psychological assistance.

  • The five kleshas (afflictions) create tension and are the root of most suffering
  • Inner tensions and pressures can obscure our judgment and lead to self-destructive behavior
  • Complete identification with the ego and personality promotes a state of stress
  • Meditation helps release mental and emotional tensions
  • Explore yogic healing practices to diminish the kleshas and relieve suffering

How to Be Truly Satisfied

The joy of yoga therapy is allowing yoga to help us deal with whatever we’re suffering.  When we’re in an ego state, we suffer in many ways. In ignorance of Spirit, the ego endures conflicts and anxieties. It aches with limited happiness, unfulfilled desires, cravings and fears. The ego wants to dominate but rarely succeeds. The ego needs to be awakened.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
